Friday: Drive to Vermont. It took TEN and a HALF HOURS! In a car. With a toddler. Brain turned to mush, anxiety meter in the red.
Saturday: Stroll around Brattleboro for the morning. Checked out thrift store, saw a drag queen in a spandex mini dress and purple hair at 11am. Attended Bat Mitzvah, the reason for the suffering ensued on Friday. See above for detailed explanation.
Sunday: Repeat Friday's kamikaze mission on different set of east-coast highways with much less traffic. Mission completed in 8 hours! ONLY EIGHT HOURS WITH STOPS!
Monday: Recover from driving one thousand miles in three days. Curse self for not taking any pictures while in the gorgeous state of Vermont and the awesome town of Brattleboro. Drive another half hour to retrieve Dog from my parent's house where he of course behaved himself perfectly all weekend leaving my parents to deduce that his crazy-rat-dog behavior is totally my fault because it only happens in my house.
I hope both you and Noah are taking a nap right now !!!!
BIG weekend.
