Last month I went on vacation and had some great writers guest post for me. When I got back and dusted off my keyboard I logged in to find that BananaBlueberry had awarded me the Sisterhood Award.
Nicole tells me I have a "great take on life" but I think that was before I wrote this yesterday.
But, alas, I do try to be positive. I do write these little bits of near-daily positivity.
The Sisterhood Award represents Attitude and Gratitude. In continuing with the tradition, I am passing on the award to some of my favorite blogs whose writers maintain grace, courage and humor in their writings no matter what life hands them.
1. FishyGirl has four adorable children. She writes for two blogs and keeps her husband happy. I don't know how. she. does. it. Seriously. Well, I do know that she doesn't sleep much. But she's positive about it ya'll!
2. Jodifur writes EVERY day about her ups and downs with a four year old. She has also written rather candidly and fearlessly about her recent diagnosis with two autoimmune diseases. She is the most upbeat, energetic person I know.
3. Miss Zoot needs no introduction (or "award" from a C-list Blogger like me) but she recently lost her father to cancer and wrote an exquisite piece about fathers and daughters that I think should be required hospital reading for every father-to-be. Her elloquence in the face of tragedy is remarkable.
4. Diana is living life a bit less caffeinated these days because she is gestating a Cup Cake a large BABY. Anyone who can write shamelessly about peeing while blowing her nose and her withered old-lady vagina deserves some recognition.

Goodness! What an honor. Thank you. But I'll have you know, right now we are having some sleep issues over here, and I am NOT POSITIVE about it. I'm grumpy.

You totally deserve this award and I love that you passed it on as well - and to excellent bloggers, no less. Zoot's father/daughter post had me weeping at my desk, it was incredible. Congrats on the award!
