One the highlights of my in-laws visiting is that they take really good pictures and generally, for a change, I get to be in them.
Actual thoughts and words coming soon, but for now ...
I'm kicking myself now for not at least preparing by wearing a little makeup, gah, you know, or even a little light-diffusing/pore-minimizing/skin-tone-balancing moisturizer. Or maintaining my pixie-ish haircut which I have decided to grow out a little because I like to make things difficult for myself.

ps- I had short hair all through my twenties- and I'll never cut it again- just b/c of the grow-out time :)

Awww! You (both!) look adorable in these pics- you could be in high school I swear to God. Must be something to that whole "staying the eff out of the sun" thing. :) Hope it was a great time.
