1. Putting Noah to bed early with the intention of knocking out some house chores and watching some television before bed, and promptly falling asleep while rocking him and thus forgoing all positive attempts at productivity. The "Grace" is in ACCEPTING this.
2. Cooking a hot one-pot meal for my family and having them all like it.
3. Accepting that Marc falls asleep on the sofa at about 930 every night.
4. Xanax. It's two years old but when some real overwhelmed and stress-induced panic sets in, it calms like nothing else.
5. ACCEPTING that tomorrow is a new day.
It's hard for me to accept similar things that generally annoy me- the falling asleep thing would be hard, for sure. Your "grace" idea is really good, and I enjoy each one you've done. Also? I could never commit to 365 anything. :) Go you!
