I enjoyed the snow falling today and took Noah for a walk on the C&O canal, in the snow. We didn't accomplish much but hopefully our bodies made another three or four antibodies to fight this cold we both have. My neighbor made us turkey chili for dinner and I ate about seven. teen. pieces of chocolate tonight. Bah.

Walking on the C&O Canal path today with my neighbor and her dog. The snow was beautiful and made the shooosh sound that snow makes when it falls. The river was mostly frozen and the solitude and white were soul-refreshing.

3. Day-Quil.
4. Super thick kleenex with lotion/aloe.
5. The return of the ability to taste.

1. Taco dinner on Steelers' game night, cooked for Marc.
2. Going down the water slide at the pool with Noah at the end of his swim lesson.
3. The moments as a parent where I feel capable and confident, able to handle whatever comes my way.
4. Martinis with my neighbor.
5. My husband thanking me for making him the dinner he requested and then sitting with him during the game.
