This is my boy. My love. My heart. My life. Right here, in this picture, in this face. I am just amazed that I am able to love him more each day, especially a morning after which I have been awakened three times to tend to a little teething problem, Ahem!. Each day I get to know him better as he reveals just a little bit more of the person he is becoming. A standing person. A thinking person. A talking person. He has given me a purpose and perspective absolutely unrivaled by anything other thing or person.
I totally hit the parent-jackpot.

And let me tell you- boys are AWESOME; he will continually amaze you with his independence yet needing you as he is growing, and I still get a lump in my throat every few days thinking, "He will be a man one day, maybe with the weight of the world on his shoulders, and I won't be able to help him. But I can be a good mommy right now and give him hugs and love and confidence so one day he can go out on his own... with a spring in his step :) "
